WEAVE

The aim of this paper was to gain knowledge of the weave process, through the investigation of weave techniques and woven structures. It also required the examination of how yarn and fibre choice can have an impact on the overall aesthetic, behavioral characteristics and environmental consequences of the resulting cloth.
This project translated the visual research and inspiration of the Screen Print paper, continuing the exploration of material, shape, and texture to create a series of original weave structures.
